[Tennis] Molino selected to coach USTA Missouri Valley National Team

Kansas Wesleyan head tennis coach Josh Molino has been selected as one of the USTA Missouri Valley National Team coaches this summer.

Molino has been picked as one of the coaches for the 16s Zonal Team which runs from July 25-19 and will be held in Oklahoma City at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center.

The Zone Team Championships are a National Level 2 tournament in which players get to compete as a team against players from other sections. The number of teams the USTA Missouri Valley will field varies based on the schedule released by USTA.  Each team will consist of six boys and six girls with one coach. Selection is based on the most recent USTA Missouri Valley Standing List at the time of the entry deadline.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to coach this group," Molino said. "I am very pleased to be a part of the National team and help lead the Zonal Team against other sectional teams from across the country."

Molino just completed his first year coaching at Kansas Wesleyan, leading the men to a third place finish in the KCAC. The Coyotes were 8-8 overall on the season and 6-3 in the KCAC. KWU also defeated rival Bethany in the KCAC quarterfinals, a first-ever win for KWU over Bethany in men's tennis.
