COLUMBIA, Ky.- The Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team opens the first round of the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship on Tuesday, May 14 at 7:30 a.m. CT, according to the championship bracket released by the national office on Tuesday afternoon.

The 12-seeded Blue Raiders (10-6) is set to face No. 21-seeded Texas A&M- Texarkana in the opening round matchup. The winner of that contest moves on to face No.5 seeded William Carey (Miss.) in the second round on May 15.

The national quarter finals are scheduled for Thursday, May 16, followed by the semi-finals on May 17 and the national championship match on the May 18.

The Blue Raiders captured the automatic bid into the field after capturing its 15th Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship on April 27 against Cumberlands (Ky.). Lindsey Wilson also won their 15th MSC Regular Season Championship.

This marks the 17th time in program history that Lindsey Wilson has made it to the championship field.

In the bottom half of the Blue Raider portion of the bracket, No.13-seeded Cumberlands and No.20-seeded Northwestern Ohio face off in the first round. The winner advances to play No.4 seeded Point (Ga.) on Wednesday morning.
