Alexander Zverev splits with girlfriend amid rumours he is dating German model Lena Gercke who he paired with in celebrity tennis match
TENNIS ace Alexander Zverev appears to have moved on from his romance with Olga Sharypova.
Rumours have started to fly that he is dating German stunner Lana Gercke.
The pair were pictured together at a charity tennis match in Munich over the weekend and they have sparked talk of a whirlwind romance.
Stunning blonde Gercke, 31, shot to fame when she won the first edition of Germany’s Next Top Model in 2006.
Zverev would have been just 10 years old at the time, but the pair looked cosy as they were paired up ahead of the BMW Open.
According to German website TZ, Zverev has been unsettled, downcast and his tennis is suffering as a result.
The hope is that the influence of Gercke can pluck his racket strings.
His father Alexander Snr has also had health problems recently and his coach Ivan Lendl suffers from a pollen allergy.
The rising star has won the past two editions of the BMW Open and is hoping for more success on clay ahead of the French Open, which starts on May 20.

Zverev said: “I feel like my game is pretty much back on the practice courts in the way I hit the ball, but I just have to show it in the matches.
“I think I’ll have a few very tough matches and if I win them, I think I’m in good shape and good form.
“We’ll see how it goes.”
