[Men's Tennis] Cumberlands upsets Cumberland to advance to MSC Men's Tennis Tournament Finals

OWENSBORO, Ky. – Fourth-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) defeated No. 1 seed Cumberland (Tenn.) 5-0 in the Mid-South Conference Men's Tennis Tournament Semifinals at the Owensboro Tennis Complex.

Luis Montello and Anthony Kwok secured the first point of the match for the Patriots (12-5) when they defeatedPau Grabuleda Cruanas and Francisco Fernandez Meaca 8-6 at No. 3 doubles. Martin Barbier and Eric Banoub put Cumberland ahead 2-0 with an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles. The No. 2 doubles paring of Aatu Merenheimo and Jan Dietrich completed the doubles sweep with an 8-6 win.
