SERENA WILLIAMS has finally sold her Bel Air mansion for £6.2million – after slashing a massive £3.1m off the original asking price.

The tennis superstar, 37, has offloaded her incredible property in the upmarket area of Los Angeles, 18 months after putting it on the market.

Williams bought the LA home in 2006 for £9m and more recently lived their with her Reddit-co-founder husband Alexis Ohanian and daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr.

The property – built in the 1930s – covers a whopping three acres of land and features a secluded swimming pool and even private hiking trails.

Bizarrely though, it does not feature a tennis court.

The seven-time Wimbledon champ originally put the 6,101 square foot property in the posh Stone Canyon area on the market in October 2017 for £9.1m.

In 2018, she reduced the price to £7.6m, before shaving another £1.4m off the price in a desperate bid to be rid of the home.

MARBLE-LOUS

The flashy pad comes fitted with six bedrooms and seven bathrooms – as well as a huge living room, formal dining room, an office-cum-study and a wet bar.

One of the main bedrooms has been turned into a fitness room, while the master bedroom suite has a lavish bathroom, a sitting area and even a dressing room.

Amongst the other features in the Bel Air home are high ceilings, marble and hardwood floors – as well as a fully-functioning hair salon.

Outside, as well as the pool, there is also a pool house, extensive gardens and spacious patio area.

But Williams has not even been in the country to complete the sale this weekend – as she joined fellow tennis star Caroline Wozniacki on her Bahamas hen do.

The 23-time Grand Slam winner even brought her daughter along, explaining: “Don’t ask why she’s here because I can’t live a day without her and her daddy was busy.”

Wozniacki, 28, is set to marry NBA star David Lee, after the pair got engaged in November 2017 – with the ex-Golden State Warriors big-man giving her an 8.88-carat diamond ring.
