[Men's Tennis] #5 Point Men's Tennis Proves Ranking with 5-4 Win over #2 Reinhardt

VALLEY, Ala. – Just one day after receiving the NAIA's number five ranking in the current Top 25 Men's Tennis Coaches' poll, Point University (13-5; 6-0 AAC) knocked off number two-ranked Reinhardt University (12-1; 5-1 AAC) by a score of 5-4 in Wednesday, April 10 Appalachian Athletic Conference action at the Valley (Ala.) Sportsplex.  Point took sole possession of first place in the AAC standings with its victory; won its 10th consecutive match and defeated its seventh NAIA Top 25 opponent of the season.  Coached by Chad Simpson (Fifth season), Point wraps up the conference schedule with a match at SCAD-Atlanta on Friday, April 12, at 1 p.m.  SCAD-Atlanta is receiving votes for the NAIA Top 25.
