[Women's Tennis] Point Women's Tennis Sweeps Montreat, 9-0, for Second AAC Win

VALLEY, Ala. – Point University (4-6; 2-2 AAC) defeated Montreat College (0-7; 0-7 AAC), 9-0, in Appalachian Athletic Conference women's tennis action, March 30, at the Valley (Ala.) Sportsplex.  Point has won three of its last four matches and two conference matches during the week just passed.  The Skyhawks won all five of the singles matches actually contested in straight sets and two doubles positions and also accepted default victories at number three doubles and number six singles.  Coached by Chad Simpson (Fifth season), the Lady Skyhawks are scheduled for a non-conference match at Tuskegee University (Ala.), Tuesday, April 2, at 10 a.m. and play AAC matches at Milligan College (Tenn.), Friday, April 5, at 3 p.m. and Tennessee Wesleyan University in Athens, Tenn., Saturday, April 6 at 1 p.m.
