[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Sweeps DH against William Jessup

ROCKLIN, Calif. — Playing two matches against William Jessup on Friday, the SDC women's tennis team won both matches, 7-2 in Match 1 and 5-1 in Match 2.

The wins give the Hawks a 12-2 overall record on the season and an 8-2 mark in conference play.

In the first match, the Hawks won all matches that were played. Jessup's two points came by default. In doubles, Sarah Urbanek and Nadine Geschke won a clean 8-0. At No. 2 Doubles, the score was the same with Aleksandra Emelinova and Tatiana Harvey won 8-0 to head into singles play leading 2-1.

The Hawks had no issues at singles winning 6-0, 6-0 in three matches to cruise to the 7-2 victory.

Both teams just played singles in the second match. William Jessup's only win was a win by default at the No. 6 position. SDC cruised to win the other singles matches with the most points in a set the Warriors were able to get was two. Sarah Urbanek blanked her opponent at No. 1 Singles.

SDC has one more conference game against Hope International before the GSAC Tournament starts on April 17.
