[Women's Tennis] Point Women's Tennis Notches First AAC Win, 8-1 at Columbia (S.C.)

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Point University (3-6; 1-2 AAC) defeated Columbia College (1-7; 1-4 AAC) by an 8-1 score in Appalachian Athletic Conference women's tennis action, March 27, in Columbia, S.C.  Point won by default at number three doubles and number six singles and won four of the five other singles matches.  Coached by Chad Simpson (Fifth season), the Lady Skyhawks host an AAC match next against Montreat College, at the Valley (Ala.) Sportsplex, Saturday, March 30, at 10 p.m.  Saturday's second home match against Martin Methodist was moved to Saturday, April 13, at 1 p.m.
