[Men's Tennis] Women's Tennis Defeats LCSC, Men Fall

RAMONA, Calif. – The SDC women's tennis team kept it rolling on Monday as the men's team fell against Lewis-Clark State.

The women's team captured a 7-2 victory over the Warriors, winning all matches that were played. LCSC won by default at No. 6 Singles and No. 3 Doubles.

Sarah Urbanek won her matches 7-5, 6-1 at No. 1 Singles at won with Nadine Geschke 8-3 at No. 1 Doubles. Geschke won her single match 6-1, 6-2.

Valentina Sotile went the distance in her match at No. 5 Singles with a 4-6, 6-1, 6-2 win.

The men got victories from David Samardzija at No. 2 Singles and again from Samardzija with the help from Alonso Tellez at No. 1 Doubles. David won his singles match 6-1, 7-5 before winning the doubles match 8-5.

The Hawks women's team will be back on the court on Friday as they travel to William Jessup to play a doubleheader since there match earlier in the year was rained out.
