[Women's Tennis] No. 16 Women's Tennis Improves to 10-2 on the Season

RAMONA, Calif. — The No. 16 team in the nation took care of two schools from Arizona as the Hawks defeated Arizona Christian and Ottawa-Arizona 7-2 over the weekend.

The Hawks improve to 10-2 on the year and 8-2 in conference play. The only losses on the season for SDC has been at the hands of Westmont.

SDC won the same matches in both days. The Hawks took care of No. 1 and 2 Doubles and from No. 1-5 Singles. Sarah Urbanek won both her singles matches 6-2, 6-2 on Friday and Saturday. Her Doubles game held strong with partner Nadine Geschke winning 8-4 against ACU before beating OUAZ 8-5. Urbanek and Reschke still rank as the best doubles partners in the country.

In singles play, of the matches the Hawks won, went two sets. Tatiana Harvey won 6-1, 6-1 against ACU before beating the Spirit's No. 5 Singles player 6-1, 6-0.

The Hawks take on Lewis-Clark State College on Monday.
