[Men's Tennis] #13 Point Men's Tennis Beats #18 McPherson (Kan.), 7-2

VALLEY, Ala. – Point University men's tennis, ranked number 13 in the current NAIA National Coaches' Top 25, improved its season dual-match record to 7-5 with a 7-2 non-conference victory over number 18-ranked McPherson College (Kan.), Thursday, March 21, at the Valley (Ala.) Sportsplex.  Point has defeated four teams this season that are ranked in the top 20 in the NAIA poll.  The Skyhawks won all three doubles matches and the first three singles matches against the Bulldogs and clinched by the match victory with five wins in the first five matches off the court.  Point meets number 21-ranked University of Northwestern Ohio (8-4), Saturday, March 23, at the John Drew Tennis Center in Macon, Ga., at 1 p.m.
