[Men's Tennis] BEARCATS WILL PLAY CONFERENCE OPENER AT HOME

Brescia men's tennis team will open the River State Conference matches against Indiana University Southeast on the 22nd of March.

Grenadiers aim to repeat their last year's success in the conference when they won four matches and only in the final lost to Asbury University (the champion of the River State Conference). Indiana Southeast is 4-7 this year but they won their first RSC match against Midway University 8-1.

IUSE men's tennis team is an experienced squad. It includes the number one singles player Garrett Fensler, who has earned RSC First Team honors two years in a row. Moreover, Bradley Cross (# 2) and Brock Winchell (# 3) have earned Second Team honors last year. Their advantage is teamwork because three players came from the junior tennis team Jeffersonville H.S., where they three times won the regional championship.

Indiana Southeast leads the head-to-head results in competitive matches with 14 wins to Brescia's 7. Last time Bearcats played against Grenadiers in March 2017. Brescia lost 0-9 that is why guys are eager to beat Indiana Southeast this time. Match will start at 3 pm at Centre Court - 2965 Bittel Rd. Come and support BEARCATS!!!
