[Women's Tennis] Bees move to 2-0 in CCAC with 5-4 win over Judson

Shannon McEachern recovered after dropping the second set to post a 7-5, 4-6, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles, one of four Bee singles wins, to help St. Ambrose to a 5-4 win over Judson Tuesday afternoon at the Quad City Tennis Club.

Kiersten Housenga won 6-3, 6-2 at No. 3 singles and Emma Lang won 6-4, 6-1 at No. 6 singles. Elizabeth Bush was leading her match at No. 5 singles 6-3, 3-1 before her opponent retired.

The four singles wins came after Housegna and Lang teamed for an 8-3 win at No. 3 doubles.

The 5-4 win moved the Bees to 5-7 overall and 2-0 in the conference. SAU will next host Holy Cross Saturday.
