[Men's Tennis] Moody earns spot on Preseason All-KCAC Men's Tennis team, Rincon and Moody ...

WICHITA, Kan. – The 2019 KCAC Preseason Men's Tennis Team has been announced by the conference office and Kansas Wesleyan's Michael Moody (SR/Midwest City, Okla.) earned a spot on the team.

The preseason team is highlighted by four returning All-KCAC Selections from the 2018 season. All six student-athletes were selected to the team by vote of the KCAC Head Men's Tennis Coaches.

Moody returns after going 10-6 in singles and 14-4 in doubles last season, earning Second Team All-KCAC honors. He was 4-3 in singles and 7-2 in doubles last season.

Moody and teammate Mario Rincon (SR/Bogota, Colombia) are also ranked in the latest ITA NAIA Men's Central Region rankings.

Rincon is ranked No. 14 and Moody is No. 16 in singles, and the pair as a doubles team is ranked No. 8 in the region.

So far this season, Rincon is 4-5 overall in singles play, 2-2 in duals and Moody is 3-7 overall and 1-4 in duals. Moody and Rincon are 1-1 overall in doubles play.

The Coyote tennis teams are back in action on Wednesday, in the KCAC opener, hosting the Bethany Swedes in a First Bank Kansas Smoky Hill Showdown match-up at 10:30 a.m. at Salina Central HS.
