The St. Ambrose men's and women's tennis teams are taking their annual Spring Break trip to Orlando, Fla.

Saint Scholastica 5, St. Ambrose Men 4 - results
Saint Scholastica 8, St. Ambrose Women 1 - results
St. Ambrose started its trip with losses to Saint Scholastica. The men were able to win two of three doubles matches, but fell 5-4 after dropping four of the six singles matches. Bradley Wheeler (No. 4 singles) and Matt Zuccato (No. 6) claimed straight-set singles victories for the Bees. Wheeler also teamed with Michael Allee for an 8-6 win at No. 2 doubles, while Daniel Rohlf and Jake Temple won 8-6 at No. 3 doubles. Tom Greenwood and Jon Kagan lost 8-4 at No. 1 doubles. Allee dropped a tight 7-5, 6-3 decision at No. 3 singles.
Kiersten Housenga was the lone winner for the SAU women. She won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 5 singles. The Bees had chances in other matches. Meg Chadick fell 7-5, 7-6 (7-4) at No. 2 singles and the No. 2 doubles team of Alex Horton and Shannon McEachern lost 8-6.
March 11
St. Ambrose Women 8, Marywood 1 - results
The Bees swept doubles play and took five of the six singles matches to defeat Marywood 8-1. St. Ambrose dropped just four total games in the five singles wins. Meg Chadick and Kiersten Housenga won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively. Elizabeth Bush dropped just a single game in her 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles. Emma Lang won 6-0, 6-2 at No. 6 and Shannon McEachern won the opening set at No. 5 singles 6-1 before her opponent retired. Alex Horton-Chadick (No. 1), Bush-McEachern (No. 2) and Housenga-Lang (No. 3) all won doubles matches.
