[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Sweeps Saint Katherine

RAMONA, Calif. – No. 13 San Diego Christian women's tennis team made quick work of Saint Katherine on Tuesday in their home-opener.

The Hawks took down the Firebirds 8-0 are were never threatened in the match. SDC grabbed a quick 2-0 lead after doubles play. Sarah Urbanek and Nadine Geshcke won 8-2 after Aleksandra Emelianova and Valentina Sotile won at No. 2 Doubels 8-0. SDC won by default at No. 5 and 6 Singles. The most the Firebirds won in a set in singles was 3 as Geschke won her No. 2 Singles match 6-2, 6-3.

SDC will hit the road for their first conference matches on Friday and Saturday taking on OUAZ and Arizona Christian.
