[Men's Tennis] Biola Blanks No. 18 Men's Tennis in Opener
LA MIRADA, Calif. — Trailing 1-0 after doubles play, the Hawks looked at the huge mountain to claim to knock off Biola Saturday.
Since the Hawks didn't field a full six-man team, the Eagles grabbed a quick 2-0 lead after the default win at No. 6 Singles. Biola then won at No. 5 and No. 2 Singles to claim the 4-0 win.
No. 1 Singles Alonso Tellez was winning his match 7-6, 4-1 before the match was called. No. 3 Innocent Tidimane was all square with his opponent before the match was called as well. Tidimane dropped the first set 7-5 before winning 6-2.
The Hawks will welcome Saint Katherine on Tuesday in their home opener in Ramona.
