[Women's Tennis] Butler Hands Women's Tennis Loss in Spring Opener

MARION, Ind. – Indiana Wesleyan University women’s tennis opened the 2019 spring season on Saturday vs. NCAA DI Butler in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Wildcats dropped a 7-0 decision for the first loss of the season.

COACH SHIGLEY SAYS…

“All things considered we played pretty well as this was Butler’s ninth match of the spring and our first match. We also played without Maddie Bemisderfer. We were in every match and had three matches go to three sets and four match points at No. 1 doubles. This was a good early season test for us to get us ready to play NAIA schools.”
