[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Ranks No. 13 in NAIA Preseason Top 25 Poll
SANTEE, Calif. – For the past two years, the SDC women's tennis team has made the NAIA National Tournament.
The Hawks come in at No. 13 in the polls released by the NAIA last week. SDC will look to advance past the second round and into the semifinals for the first time in school history.
Doing so will take an extreme team effort. SDC claims the top doubles team in the nation with Sarah Urbanek and Nadine Geschke
Last year, the Hawks won their opening round match against the University of Mobile 7-2 before falling to then-No. 4 Lindsey Wilson 5-0.
SDC looks to get on the right track for the first match of the season against Biola on Feb. 9 in La Mirada.
