[Men's Tennis] Lindsey Wilson men's tennis ties for first in MSC Preseason poll
COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team ties for first place in the Mid-South Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced by officials on Friday morning.
The Blue Raiders received 32 points in the poll and four first-place votes. The Blue Raiders finished last season with a record of 14-1, sweeping the MSC regular season and tournament titles. Lindsey Wilson ended their season with a second-round loss to Reinhardt (Ga.) in the NAIA Men's National Tournament Championship.
Cumberland (Tenn.) received 32 points in the poll and three first-place votes to tie for first with LWC. Campbellsville (Ky.) received 28 points to claim the third spot in the poll. Cumberlands (Ky.) received 22 voting points to take fourth and Georgetown (Ky.) claims the fifth spot with 16 voting points. Pikeville (Ky.) with 11 voting points and Shawnee State (Ohio.) with six voting points round out the sixth and seventh spots in the poll.
The Blue Raider men's tennis team opens their season on the road against Reinhardt on Friday, February 15 in Waleska, Ga.
