Rohan Bopanna partners with Sports School

India's leading doubles player Rohan Bopanna on Wednesday partnered with The Sports School, which will offer programmes in different sports including tennis, football and cricket along with regular schooling.

Spread over a sprawling 19 acres campus, the school will be operational from the 2019-2020 academic session.

Key infrastructure at the school will include ITF-approved seven tennis courts, FIBA standard two basketball courts and 65 yards cricket grounds with six practice net cages.

"I am delighted to be an integral part of The Sports School, which aims to create next-gen professional sportspersons. The Rohan Bopanna Tennis Academy would offer tennis coaching exclusively through the school," said Bopanna.

"At RBTA, we have always been committed to delivering the finest and most comprehensive tennis development programme for future champions. With the school we aim to create Olympians and Grand Slam champions," he said.
