[Men's Tennis] Challenging Schedule Awaits Point Men's Tennis for Spring Season
WEST POINT, Ga. -- The Point University men's tennis team returns 10 letter-winners from its 2017-18 squad that set a school record with 15 dual-match victories and was ranked as high as number 23 in an NAIA National Coaches' Top 25. The Skyhawks open the season with a Feb. 2 match at Troy University (Ala.) and host Georgia Southwestern State University, an NCAA Division II program, Feb. 8. Point also does battle with The Citadel, an NCAA Division I team, Feb. 23. Eight of Point's 16 opponents that currently are part of the 2019 spring schedule are nationally-ranked NAIA teams. Two more opponents received votes for the NAIA pre-season poll, and two more are NCAA Division I programs.
