[Women's Tennis] Vikings Drop Match to Simpson, 5-4

Des Moines, IA- The Grand View women's tennis team hosted Simpson College at Aspen Athletics Club Tuesday afternoon in Des Moines, Iowa. 

In doubles, at the number one spot Eisha Nathwani (SR/Grimes, Iowa) and freshmen Kristina Khmelevskaia(FR/Vladivostok, Russia) defeated Kayla Reusche and Emily King 9-7, getting the first win of the meet.

In singles, senior Eisha Nathwani (SR/Grimes, Iowa) defeated Emily King 6-3, 6-1. Freshmen Kristina Khmelevskaia (FR/Vladivostok, Russia) defeated Kayla Reusche and Molly Harvey defeated Sierra Griffith 6-4, 6-4.

After a long battle, the Vikings lost their meet 4-5. The women's tennis team will be playing again this Friday against Missouri Western State University at St. Joseph in Missouri.
