[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Falcons Overcome Hastings, 5-4

Hastings, Neb. – The Friends University Women's Tennis Falcons pulled out a 5-4 victory over Hastings College (Neb.) last Saturday (Sept. 29) in Hastings, Neb.
The Falcons were lifted to victory on the strength of singles wins by Issabella Smith (4-6, 7-6, 1-0), Ariel Williams (6-4, 6-4), Abigail Thibodeau (6-1, 6-0) and Sydney McGrown (6-0, 6-0).
The duo of Smith/Roe were also victories in their doubles match (8-0).
In an exhibition match, Matty Donaldson won 6-1 for Friends.
The Falcons wrap up the fall schedule with a winning mark of 3-1 and will open the spring slate on Mar. 2 against the College of Saint Mary on the Genesis courts in Wichita.
