[Men's Tennis] Tennis Trio Named USCAA Academic All-Americans

A trio of junior Williamson tennis players recently received that highest academic honor the United States Collegiate Association can offer, as John Coleman (JR/Chichester, PA), Isaac Eshenour (JR/Shippensburg, PA) and Devin Fox (JR/Aston, PA) all were named 2018 USCAA Academic All-Americans.

Coleman capped off another outstanding season for the Mechanics in 2018.  As Williamson's Second Singles player and First Doubles team member, his play allowed Williamson to be competitive in every match.  He is a two-year team captain and was named the team's co-MVP for the second straight year.  

This is the second straight year as well that Coleman has earned USCAA Academic All-American status. An outstanding soccer player as well, he earned USCAA Academic All-American status in soccer this past Fall. 

Eshenour improved dramatically over last season and also had a big role in Williamson's success.  He moved up from Fifth Singles last year to Third Singles this year and his clutch play at that position, as well as Second Doubles, allowed Williamson to win its second straight Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) championship in a row.  He was named the team's co-Most Improved Player this season.

A starter for the Williamson cross country team, Eshenour earned USCAA Academic All-American status this past Fall in that sports as well as tennis this Spring. 

Fox didn't start last year but moved up to Fifth Singles and Third Doubles this year and it was his improved play that also had a huge hand in the team's success.  He too, along with Eshenour, shared the team's Most Improved award at season's end.

Williamson closed out their season with the 2018 EPAC title and a sixth place finish at the 2018 NJCAA Region XIX tournament
