French Open 2018: Time, TV/live stream info, match schedule for Wednesday
The quarterfinals continue for the 2018 French Open. We have what you need to know for Wednesday.
The top French Open seeds in the women’s and men’s brackets will step into the spotlight at Roland Garros on Wednesday. The action begins at 7 a.m. (ET) and will be broadcast on the Tennis Channel, with live streaming available through a Tennis Channel Plus subscription.
In the second day of quarterfinal matches, No. 1 Rafael Nadal faces No. 11 Diego Schwartzman with No. 3 Marin Cilic going against No. 5 Juan Martin del Potro on the men's side.
On the women's side, No. 1 Simona Halep faces No. 12 Angelique Kerber, with No. 3 Garbine Muguruza taking on No. 28 Maria Sharapova.

Nadal, a 10-time French Open champion, won his fourth-round match in straight sets against 70th-ranked Maximillian Marterer to earn his spot in the quarterfinals. Schwartzman came from behind to topple No. 6 Kevin Anderson in five sets in the previous round. Cilic earned his place after defeating Fabio Fognini in five sets, while del Potro beat John Isner in straight sets to advance.
Top-seeded Halep beat 16th-seeded Elise Mertens for her spot in a quarterfinal match. Kerber defeated Caroline Garcia to earn her second appearance in the French Open quarterfinals. Muguruza, the 2016 French Open champion, and Sharapova earned their spots in their respective quarterfinal matches after their opponents withdrew with injuries.
The first batch of quarterfinal matches took place on Tuesday. In those matches, Dominic Thiem defeated Alexander Zverev 6-4 6-2 6-1, and Marco Cecchinato defeated Novak Djokovic after four sets in the men’s side.
In the women’s bracket, Sloane Stephens defeated Daria Kasatkina and Madison Keys defeated Yulia Putintseva to set up an all-American semifinal matchup
