[Women's Tennis] SAU finishes season with 9-0 win at Roosevelt

St. Ambrose wrapped up the 2017-18 season with a 9-0 shutout of Roosevelt Saturday in Chicago.

The Bees were dominant up and down the lineup, losing a total of 13 games in singles play.

Alex Horton and Emma Lang cruised to 6-0, 6-0 wins at No. 2 and No. 4 singles, respectively.

Nikki Steiner won her match at No. 3 singles 6-0, 6-2. After also winning the first set 6-0, Shannon McEachern was tested in the second before prevailing 6-0, 7-5 at No. 5. No. 1 player Griffin Rasche won 6-2, 6-4.

The Bees claimed a win by default at both No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles.

Rasche and Horton teamed for an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles and the team of Steiner and Elizabeth Bush did not drop a game in their 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles.

SAU ends the year 4-12 overall and 2-5 in the CCAC.
