[Women's Tennis] Women's Tennis Advances to GSAC Final with 5-0 Win Over HIU

INDIAN WELLS, Calif. – The SDC women's tennis team breezed through their GSAC Tournament semifinal match against Hope International in 45 minutes as they defeated the Royals 5-0 to advance to the finals on Friday.

SDC grabbed a point right off the get-go because Hope International couldn't field a third doubles team. Of the doubles that competed, the Hawks grabbed 8-0 wins at No. 1 and 2 Doubles to take a 3-0 lead.

Since the Royals onlyt had four players, the Hawks were able to clinch the match after the doubles play was over with wins by default at No. 5 and 6 Singles.

The Hawks will take on the Warriors on Friday at 9 a.m. SDC is looking for back-to-back GSAC Tournament Championships.
