Too much money! Tennis star Serena Williams put up N3.5bn mansion for sale, set to move into new one with hubby (photos)
Twenty three grand slams winner, Serena Williams has put up her California mansion up for sale at the rate of $9.9m after she purchased a new family home in Beverly Hills, splashing out an eye-watering $6.7m.
And TMZ report that the 23-time Grand Slam champion has slashed $2m off the asking price for her Bel-Air home.
The luxurious six bedroom duplex has a new asking price that falls just a little below $10m, at $9,995,000, after sitting on the market at $12m since October.
Tennis champ Serena still stands to make a healthy profit despite the price drop, since she acquired the property for just over $6m in 2006.
The home, which Serena shared with her Reddit co-founder husband Alexis Ohanian and their daughter Alexis Olympia, was originally built in 1935 and sits on 2.7 acres of land with private hiking trails and gardens.
Surprisingly there is no tennis court in the vast grounds, but the palatial pad does boast such luxuries as a gym, pool, bar and salon.

The five bedroom, seven bathroom 2017-built home is located in one of Beverly Hills' most popular neighbourhoods, the gated Summit Estates, which offers stunning views across The Valley.
And Serena and her family will not be short on space in the the 6,000 square foot house which includes a yoga and massage room, wine cellar and games room.
Serena boasts quite the property portfolio, including an apartment in Paris - an ideal European base for the fluent French speaker and a 5,800-square-foot residence in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida which she bought in 2015 for $2.5 million.
Serena, who is worth a reported $170m, has already found some new digs, after spending $6.7m on a Beverly Hills pad around the same time she listed her Bel-Air home.
The decorated athlete is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming HBO documentary being Serena.
