[Tennis] SAU tennis teams defeat Indiana South Bend

The SAU men's and women's tennis teams each picked up a home dual victory over Indiana South Bend Saturday at the Quad-City Tennis Club. The men won 8-1 and the women won 9-0.

The Bee men swept the three doubles matches with the No. 1 team of Tom Greenwood and Jake Anderson and the No. 2 team of Jake Temple and Bradley Wheeler each winning 8-4. Michael Allee and Daniel Rohlf earned an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles.

St. Ambrose (3-15, 1-2 CCAC) then won five of the six singles matches, with the only loss coming in a third-set super-tiebreaker.

Greenwood won his match at No. 1 singles 6-2, 6-4. Anderson and Allee each won 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively. Colin Stiefer (No. 5) and Matt Zuccato combined to lost just one game in their straight-set victories.
