[Men's Tennis] Men's Tennis Wins on Senior Day over Hope International

SAN DIEGO — After the Hawks grabbed a 2-1 lead after doubles play, they captured four of the six singles matches to defeat the Royals 6-3 on Senior Day.

The win gives the Hawks a 8-4 record n the year and 5-1 GSAC mark. The Royals fall to 6-11 and 0-6 respectively.

Alonso Tellez and David Samardzija captured the first victory for the Hawks 8-1 at No. 2 Doubles. Innocent Tidimane and Nick Bell defeated the Royals counterpart with an 8-3 win at No. 3 Doubles.

German Ziella won at No. 6 Singles 6-1, 7-6.

SDC will travel to Westmont in the last match of the season on Saturday before the start of the GSAC Conference Tournament.
