[Men's Tennis] Tigers showing good signs against very difficult MSC opponents
Ryo Takeda continues his solid junior season with the lone win Wednesday against No. 11 Campbellsville University. Georgetown College's men's tennis team traveled to the Mid-South Conference foes courts for a battle. Despite falling 8-1, the match was much closer than the final tally.
Takeda won his singles battle with Alejandro Reyes, 5-7, 6-3, 10-6. He and doubles partner Tristan Nosek were a few games from winning their doubles. Chrys Castro and Blayze O'keefe narrowly edged them 8-6.
Nosek turned around in his singles for a tight first set with Castro. He ran out of steam in the second set and lost 6-4, 6-1.
