[Women's Tennis] Monakhova claims CCAC weekly accolade

CHICAGO --- Olivet Nazarene University's Victoria Monakhova has been named the Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week for her play during the seven-day period from March 26-April 1, the league office announced on Wednesday morning.

Monakhova recorded two wins at the top spot, where the senior claimed a 6-2, 6-2 singles victory and an 8-3 doubles decision against University of St. Francis this past Thursday.  Olivet Nazarene went on to win the match 8-1.

With the two wins, Monakhova bumped her singles record up to 7-4, while evening out her doubles mark at 5-5.

Olivet Nazarene, the No. 25-ranked team in the nation, is now 6-4 after winning its only decision this past week.
