[Women's Tennis] Women's tennis roars through March
Georgetown College women's tennis wrapped up an impressive March – posting a perfect 31 days of play. The Tigers came into the month sitting at 0-2. The stormed through the third calendar mark of the year with an eye-popping eight wins.
It started with a blanking of Indiana University Southeast and culminated in a blanking of Shawnee State University. In the final match of the month, GC not only blanked SSU (9-0), but only dropped five games total. No player lost more than a game per set.
Lauren Fazenbaker and Emily Novak teamed at one doubles for an 8-1 win, while Madelynn Kauffman and Abigail Kennedy posted the same score at two doubles. Katie Swanson and Kitty Lackey won 8-0.
