[Men's Tennis] Cavs Fall in Close Match to Milligan

MONTREAT, N.C. – After a close match on Wednesday, the Milligan Buffaloes departed Montreat with a hard-fought 5-4 win over the Cavaliers men's tennis team.

"We had our chances in doubles, especially in the #2 spot. It was a battle back and forth until it was over," said head coach Andrew Cobb. "We had some tough matches in singles that could've gone either way but lost the big points and in a match like this, those can swing it either way."

With the defeat, Montreat is now 7-10 on the year and 0-4 in the AAC, while Milligan moved to 6-9 overall and 1-3 in conference. Montreat will return to the court for another AAC match on the road at Reinhardt late next week.
