[Men's Tennis] No. 13 Men's Tennis Rolls Past Merrimack College 8-1

SAN DIEGO — Coming off their best win of the season, the SDC men's tennis team kept it rolling as they defeated Merrimack College 8-1 on Tuesday.

The Hawks improved to 7-5 on the season with their win over the NCAA Div. II foe.

SDC grabbed two doubles matches to kick things off. Alonso Tellez and David Samardzija won at No 2 Doubles with a score of 8-1. Innocent Tidimane and Nick Bell grabbed a point at No. 3 Doubles with the 8-5 win.

In the singles matches, the Hawks were able to breeze through with no match getting to the third set. Carl Lindqvist-Nilsson was the only match that was close in the early going as he won at No. 4 Singles 7-5, 6-2.

The Hawks are off until April 7 when they host Hope International.
