[Women's Tennis] Claremont-Mudd Blanks Women's Tennis
CLAREMONT, Calif. — After their last match where they defeated Hope International 9-0, the Hawks fell to that score against No. 3 and NCAA Div. III foe Claremont-Mudd Scripps on Thursday.
The loss drops the Hawks to an even 2-2 on the season. CMS improves to 4-0.
SDC was unable to score more than two points in the doubles matches.
Singles matches were quite the same as Aleksandra Emelianova lost in No. 3 Singles 6-3, 6-3, the Hawks best effort stat wise. Sarah Urbanek was next with a 6-3, 6-2 defeat.
The Hawks will be back on the court on Saturday when they host Westmont College. First serve is scheduled for noon.
