[Tennis] Both Trojan tennis programs enter Spring season highly ranked in the nation

Both Seminole State College tennis programs begin the Spring 2018 semester ranked in the top 10 in the nation in the latest ITA/NJCAA national poll. The men's team begins the season ranked #4, while the ladies begin their season ranked #6 in NJCAA.

Both teams will have challenging schedules during the spring team championship semester. The men's schedule is highlighted by matches with three NCAA Division 1 opponents, five matches against NCAA D2 teams (three of which are ranked in the top 25 of NCAA D2), and a match versus the top ranked NAIA team in nation Georgia Gwinnett College. In Junior College competition, the Trojans will face all three teams ranked above them; #1 Tyler JC, #2 ASA Miami College, and #3 Seward College as well as six other matches against teams in the top 25 in the JUCO rankings. 

On the women's side, the Lady Trojans will face two NCAA D1 opponents, Prairie View A&M University February 17th in Dallas, Texas and Oral Roberts Univeristy April 18th in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Lady Trojans will also face off against four NCAA D2 opponents, one NCAA D3 opponent, three NAIA opponents, as well as their Jr. College schedule which includes nine opponents ranked inside the top 25 in JUCO.
