Australian Open 2018 live stream: Match schedule, times, TV channel, and how to watch Day 10 online

Roger Federer and Simona Halep will try and punch their tickets into the quarterfinals Tuesday.

Roger Federer will be in quarterfinals action against Tomas Berdych on Tuesday at the Australian Open. Federer, the second seed, is now the favorite to win the tournament for many after Rafael Nadal, the top seed, had to retire from his quarterfinal match against Marin Cilic.

Simona Halep will also be in quarterfinals action on Tuesday. Play begins at 7 p.m. ET on the Tennis Channel, and will continue at 9 p.m. on ESPN 2. That coverage runs through 2 a.m. Wednesday, and picks back up again at approximately 3:30 a.m. for more play.

Federer, the second seed, is the defending champion after he beat Nadal in the finals in 2016. He’s going for Grand Slam No. 20, and he has the 19th-seeded Berdych to contend with. Berdych is coming off a dominant win over No. 25 Fabio Fognini, while Federer bested Marton Fucsovics in his fourth-round match.

Halep, the women’s top seed, saw one of her top competitors bow out on Monday as well, with fourth seed Elina Svitolina falling in straight sets to Elise Mertens. Halep is coming off a dominant win over Naomi Osaka, and seems sufficiently recovered from a third-round marathon match against Luaren Davis.

Halep will face Karolina Pliskova, the sixth seed. Pliskova is coming off a three-set match against Barbora Strycova, the 20th seed.

On the men’s side, unseeded players Tennys Sandgren and Hyeon Chung will be facing one another. Sandgren is an American, and is coming off a win over Dominic Thiem, the fifth seed. Chung notched a straight-set victory over Novak Djokovic in his last outing.

American Madison Keys, the 17th seed, will also be playing Tuesday, against Angelique Kerber, the No. 21 seed.

The first women’s semifinal matchup is set, and will feature No. 2 Caroline Wozniacki against Mertens. The first men’s semifinal is between Cilic and Kyle Edmund.
