I wonder if we should go over to the Tennis/cricket idea of giving each team so many "challenges" - 4 per game for each team say? the referee not to have the option of going to the VR. That way, if a team (captain or coach to make the call) think the referee has got it wrong then call for a review. if upheld they keep their challenge, if not they lose it. would "force" referees to make decisions, and put the onus on the teams?
not sure but only thing I can think of!
Interesting. Might get a few players to shut up if feeling was they were using their challenge option. Too often you see the players bleating to the ref to go to the VR.
