[Men's & Women's Tennis] Men's and Women's Tennis Fare Well in TJC Invitational

The Tyler Junior College men's and women's tennis teams fared well this weekend as they competed in the Tyler Invitational.  Matches were played at TJC and UT Tyler and featured teams from TJC, UTT, Midwestern State, Jacksonville College, Dallas Baptist University, Seward Community College, Mississippi College, Southwestern University, Angelo State and Seminole State College.  A total of 141 participants competed in the two day tournament.  

"Both TJC teams had a good weekend," said Head TJC tennis coach Dash Connell.  "With it being our first tournament of the year, it was a great chance for a lot of our new players to get their feet wet and see how our team likes to compete.  We have a couple of more weeks until the regional, so we are excited to see where we progress from here."
