Serena Williams isn't playing in the U.S. Open this year, but she's still making headlines — albeit for a very different reason than winning a match.
The tennis legend and her fiancé, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, welcomed their first child into the world on Friday, according to reports.
Chris Shepherd, a senior producer at West Palm Beach's WPBF first broke the news on Twitter, saying that Williams had given birth to a baby girl weighing 6 pounds and 13 ounces. Additionally, Laura Wagner of Deadspin tweeted that before her match at the U.S. Open, Venus Williams confirmed her sister had given birth to a baby girl. Read more...
