Achanta Sharath Kamal registered a comfortable 8-11, 11-9, 11-8, 14-12, 11-9 victory over fifth seeded Koki Niwa of Japan at Qatar Open. G. Sathiyan was made to sweat before grinding out a 6-11, 11-5, 2-11, 10-12, 12-10, 11-4, 11-8 verdict against Japan’s Yuya Oshima.
