SOS to Liverpool fans in call to fight ticket price increases at Anfield
April 7 – The mood around Anfield is turning, and not in the way the club would like. Amid a crisis on the pitch, Liverpool supporters’ union Spirit of Shankly (SOS) has confirmed protests “inside and outside Anfield,” beginning with Fulham’s visit this weekend, in response to planned ticket price rises that many fans see as tone-deaf in a difficult economic climate.
Last month it was announced general admission tickets would rise in line with inflation for the next three seasons,
