Paddy Pimblett is happy to share the details of his seemingly miraculous weight cuts.

“The Baddy” has become famous for putting on pounds between fights, often looking nowhere near lightweight in his vlogs but then inevitably hitting the 155-pound mark when it’s time to step to the scale. For his fight with Michael Chandler at UFC 314 this past April, Pimblett revealed he was at least 40 pounds over the limit when he began his training camp for the event.

Tough cut or no, Pimblett went on to dominate and submit Chandler to improve his UFC record to 7-0.

On Thursday, Pimblett posted a video showing his incredible journey from the start of camp to weigh-in day. Watch below.

Despite some early frustration with his weight not dropping, Pimblett managed to get to around 175 pounds with less than three weeks until fight night. With two days to go, he was down to 170 pounds, which was apparently right where he and his team wanted to be.

After one more push, Pimblett was only a couple of pounds over the night before weigh-ins. He ended up registering a weight of 156 pounds, good enough for a non-title lightweight bout. According to Pimblett, “It was one of my easiest weight cuts.”

There’s no arguing with results as Pimblett’s win over Chandler, a three-time Bellator champion and longtime contender, have put him in the thick of the lightweight title picture.
