Eddie Hall and Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105

Eddie Hall is the World’s Strongest Fighter.

On Saturday, the former World’s Strongest Man faced off with five-time World’s Strongest Man champion Mariusz Pudzianowski at KSW 105. Billed as “The World’s Strongest Fight,” the matchup was a throwback to the more absurdist days of MMA, and it played out just as one-sided, with Hall demolishing Pudzianowski in just 30 seconds.

Hall entered the fight 67 pounds heavier, and 11 years younger than Pudzianowski, however, “The Beast” was still a sizable betting underdog to Pudzianowski given the gap in experience. This was Pudzianowski’s 28th MMA fight, while Hall made his official MMA debut, but that didn’t slow “The Beast” down one bit.

Right after the opening bell and tagged Pudzianowski with a right hand over the top. That shot sent Pudzianowski stumbling backward and Hall jumped all over him. Pudzianowski attempted to drive on a double-leg takedown but Hall tossed him aside with ease and then took top position, pounding away with punches until the fight was stopped.

Check out Hall’s impressive debut win below.

“Shocked myself to be honest. Mariusz is a formidable opponent, but like I said, I’ve got the hardest punch on the planet,” Hall said after the bout. He then suggested he would be interested in a rematch, noting that he is only interested in fighting his heroes or “the freaks of the world.”
