‘Trying to make a name for himself’ – David Adeleye brutally hits back at Jeamie TKV after press conference table flip
DAVID ADELEYE slammed Jeamie Tshikeva’s press conference table flip as a desperate stunt to boost his name.
The bitter rivals settle their grudge on Saturday night in Manchester on DAZN – with bragging rights and the British title up for grabs.
But the fight threatened to start early when the usually soft-spoken Tshikeva – known as TKV – tried to launch a table Adeleye’s way.
But Adeleye told Ring Magazine: “I know he’s obviously trying to make a name for himself.
“Like I was saying, his manager was saying Jeamie’s phone, no one was really calling him or whatnot.
“So he had to do something to make himself relevant.”
Adeleye, 28, was beaten for the first time in October 2023 following a devastating knockout by Fabio Wardley, 30, in Saudi Arabia.
But he bounced back in December with an equally savage first-round stoppage of Solomon Dacres, 31, in December.
TKV, 31, meanwhile is 8-1 and looks to settle bad blood with former sparring partner Adeleye.
The two were already forced apart after an explosive argument live on-air at talkSPORT.

And the verbal jabs continued at the press conference – sparking the table throw which was straight out of the volatile Derek Chisora playbook.
Adeleye said: “You called me and said, ‘I know you’re going to do Dacres,’ and after that you were saying, ‘You’re the truth.’
“Your manager said to me there is nothing for Jeamie, nothing going on for Jeamie and we know he ain’t getting nothing.
“Let’s be real about it. You’re a bitch. Every time I fight security come because they know I’m on smoke. With you, there is no security.”
Adeleye then began banging the table and shouted: “I’m the truth! Trust me, Jeamie.”
TKV responded by standing up, picking up the table and attempting to chuck it Adeleye’s way before security intervened.
A planned face-off was then subsequently and wisely scrapped.
