Sooners Fall Short at Texas A&M
#13 Texas A&M shot 13 more free throws than Oklahoma and outrebounded the Sooners 47-19 on their way to a 75-68 win and a season sweep of the Sooners on Tuesday night at Reed Arena in College Station, Texas.
The first half featured 7 ties and 12 lead changes but the Aggies never trailed in the second half.
A&M led 31-30 at halftime and started the second half on a 7-0 run.
Oklahoma held the Aggies to just 4-for-24 from three-point range and had 10 made three-pointers.
The Sooners outshot A&M 48 percent to 38 percent overall from the field.
Brycen Goodine led OU with 24 points and made five three-pointers, while Jalon Moore had 22 points.
Freshman guard Jeremiah Fears was held scoreless, going 0-for-5 from the field.
The Aggies had all five starters score in double figures, led by 15 points from Zuric Phelps.
OU drops to 15-5 overall, 2-5 in SEC play.
The Sooners host Vanderbilt Saturday at 2:30 pm.
