Brentford eyeing transfer for Sheffield Wednesday wonderkid Bailey Cadamarteri – son of ex-Everton striker Danny
BRENTFORD are keeping tabs on Sheffield Wednesday youngster Bailey Cadamarteri.
The Owls remain eager to thrash out a deal with the 17-year-old forward for his first professional contract.
But the Bees are eyeing a summer swoop for Cadamarteri following his redhot form in Wednesday’s youth set up.
His performances for Wednesday’s U18s has seen rise through the ranks into the U23 squad and even train with Darren Moore’s first team.
Cadamarteri, who has one year left on his Owls scholarship, is also being monitored by West Ham and has been earmarked for the England youth setup.
The teenager, who is the son of former Everton striker Danny Cadamarteri, has been at Hillsborough since he was eight.

Brentford are also eyeing up a summer swoop for Emmanuel Dennis.
The Bees are keen to land another striker in the transfer window to partner top scorer Ivan Toney.
Elsewhere, Brentford are looking to add wing-backs on both sides of the park this window.
Bologna’s Aaron Hickey and Norwich’s Max Aarons are two of the names on their shortlist.

However, the Bees might struggle to retain the services of Christian Eriksen.
The Dane becomes a free agent this summer after impressing last season.
